Could Beauty Training Be Your Next Chapter?
One of the most rewarding parts of my work is seeing someone take their first steps into the beauty industry.
Recently, we've had the pleasure of helping new students explore training opportunities, navigate funding applications and go on to begin their training with SLS Académie.
For some, it's the start of a completely new career. For others, it's an opportunity to develop skills that could fit around family life or existing commitments.
And I love being part of that journey.
Learning from real experience
After more than 15 years in the beauty industry, I still spend time developing my own skills and learning new techniques.
It's something I feel strongly about, both as a beauty professional and an educator.
The techniques I teach are the same techniques I use every week in the treatment room,
working with real clients, different expectations and the challenges that come with delivering professional beauty treatments.
That practical experience is at the heart of how I teach.
At SLS Académie, our specialist training in makeup, lash lifts, Korean lash lifts, HD Brows, HD Brow Sculpt and nails focuses on individual attention, practical skills and continued support beyond the training day.
Because learning a technique is one thing. Developing the confidence to use it professionally is another.
Could training be something you've considered?
One thing we've learnt from speaking to prospective students is that the biggest hurdle isn't always deciding what they'd like to learn. Sometimes it's simply understanding where to begin, particularly when funding is involved.
We've now successfully supported students through the process of exploring funding opportunities, making applications and progressing into training with SLS Académie.
Funding may be available to eligible students, subject to the relevant organisation's criteria and approval. Where appropriate, we can help you understand the options and introduce you to the right people.
We are here to support you on that initial step , contact Janice@slsartistry.co.uk for information.
If you've been thinking about beauty training, whether as a new career or simply to learn something new, I'd love to hear from you.
Sometimes all it takes is an initial conversation to discover what might be possible.
